This person must have the ability to communicate effectively while working quickly and accurately.The ABM will have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner and conduct him/herself in such relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall efficiency and image of the bank. Also, will implement, communicate, and manage branch-related operational policies and procedures under the direction of the Branch Manager.Duties and responsibilities include:Represent the Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a "consider it done" attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needsProvide superior internal and external customer service while demonstrating self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as organization personnelKeep management appropriately informed of significant issues, problems and complaintsSupervise Tellers and New Accounts RepresentativesResolve customer concerns/complaints, maintain appropriate contact with customers through verbal and written communicationMonitor hourly employees' time/schedule and time sheetsComplete Annual Performance Evaluations for each branch staff memberConduct monthly certificationsComplete month-end reporting, including, but not limited to, balancing teller differences, closed accounts, manager's and security reportsConduct weekly/monthly staff meetingsPerform all Teller functions, including, but not limited to, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, stop payments, selling cashier checks and money orders, processing account holdsPerform or assist with all personal bank functions, including, but not limited to opening variety of accounts (checking, savings, business, IRA, CD, HSA, Safe Deposit Boxes), account maintenance, create and troubleshoot online banking accounts, ordering checks and debit cards, processing bankcard disputesRefer customers and prospects to bank services, explaining a variety of account types and servicesAssist Branch Manager to achieve all annual growth objectives and other projects and responsibilities as neededParticipate in projects and assignments, which may include obtaining information and research from a variety of sourcesMay originate consumer loans; maintain up to date training and adhere to loan compliance standardsComplete required bank trainings courses within assigned time framesRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets ControlMay be required to work at other Foothills Bank branches due to staffing shortagesParticipate in community service and bank-sponsored activitiesAttend and participate in meetings as requiredKeep work area tidyAdditional duties as requested or assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2-5 years of banking or financial services experience or equivalent progression within a branch environmentPrevious supervisory experience preferredKnowledge, skill, ability:Demonstrated effective interpersonal relationships and teamwork.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills, using considerable tact, diplomacy, and judgment.Strong organizational, customer service, communication, and decision-making skills.Able to maintain confidential and sensitive information.Experience working with all levels of employees and external customers.Well-organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with others in the Bank to perform effective reviews and to report the results.Ability to respond to common inquiries of complaints of customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Sufficient banking, organizational and technical skills to assist in performing all required reviews.Work environment:Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.Physical demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
