Location:REMOTE 100% TRAVEL, MinnesotaType:Direct HireJob#35541Job Title: Wind Projects Superintendent I or II Location / Travel Requirement: Remote w/100% TRAVEL: 100% Travel required with regular rotations home every 3 weeks. Must work Monday-Saturday for 3 weeks, then home for 7 days.JOB SUMMARY: Client is currently seeking a Superintendent that will be responsible for providing coordination, planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a particular area of discipline. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service. Crane experience a plus, but, not just for a crane company and Foundation concrete experience a plus. MUST be able to create a schedule, understand and drive 3-, 6-, monthly, quarterly look ahead and be able to give actual examples of how you work the schedule and with what tools. Must have experience with self-perform work. Managing sub-contractors only are not desired. Wind experience a plus, but more important, worked in industrial and utility sized projects QUALIFICATIONS: must have worked on large scale projectsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, OR 10 years trade experience 5+ years experience minimum Current driver’s license Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects Detail-oriented, able to organize and manage multiple project tasks Basic understanding of construction law and business practices Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to interpret and communicate company policies Effective communication and active listening skills, openness to diverse input and feedback, ability to travel up to 100% Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans OSHA 30 CertificationMust be able to lead all levels of employees; craft to superintendents – lead by example Must be able to effectively mentor and coach Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendents RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedule Review construction documents for completeness and constructability, understand contract documents, coordinate plans with design engineers Develop and manage project schedule, site logistics plan, utilize tools and equipment, collaborate with project partner superintendents Coach, supervise, and develop team members, conduct orientations, planning sessions, site meetings, supervise project partners, interview/hire/transfer/dismiss team members Ensure proper task coding, lead and track work progress, handle team member training, conduct career development discussions Build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Lead by example, offer coaching and feedback, manage performance Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance, recognize and mitigate unfavorable conditions, seek process improvements
