Part Time Retail Sales Associate

Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay ranges from $15.29 to $22.88 per hour, varying with location and experience. Part‑time employment (29hours per week) has a minimum base rate of $17.18 per hour and a targeted commission of $639 per month, for an expected total compensation of approximately $33,575 annually, including an annual incentive/commission target of $7,674.00. What You’ll Do Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and make product suggestions based on customer wants and needs. Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with opening/closing the retail store. Handle cash appropriately. Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents when needed. Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training. May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative, solutions‑based selling. Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented team environment. Physical stamina to stand and move around the store for extended periods. Computer literacy and ability to learn communication products and services. Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds to manage stock room inventory. Preferred: Some college coursework in sales, business, or management; one year of experience in related fields (sales, retail sales, service industry); experience selling wireless/mobile products; fluency in Spanish.
