Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers both Elementary (grades 1-4) and High School positions, located near Burnsville and St. Paul, MN. Enjoy a manageable caseload of up to 15 students, meaningful daily collaboration, and dedicated time set aside for IEP and due process paperwork—ensuring your focus remains on impactful teaching and student support.
What you'll bring:
- Current and active Minnesota SPED license (Tier 3 or 4 required)
- Proven classroom management and strong collaboration skills
- Prior experience managing IEPs and handling due process responsibilities
- Capacity to supervise and mentor paraprofessionals
- Adaptable instructional strategies to address a broad range of student needs
Role highlights:
- Elementary position: Deliver direct and indirect SPED services to high-needs students in grades 1-4, including supervising paras
- High School position: Provide resource/push-in services with both academic and behavioral support, supervising paraprofessionals
- Enjoy professional guidance from a dedicated on-site SPED Coordinator, Due Process Specialist, and SPED Coach

- W2 hourly contract with comprehensive healthcare benefits included
- Consistent weekly schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30am to 3:00pm; Wednesday until 4:30pm
- Competitive pay ranging from $38-44 per hour, depending on experience
- Dedicated workday time specifically allotted for managing IEPs and due process tasks
