Requirements Will need temps - please only present physicians with a clean NPDB/file. Ask to is provide coverage at regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Immediate need is at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI. Mostly single coverage with some shift overlap. Double coverage with two APCs. Admission rate is about 20%. Over 20 shifts/month open. Flexible with the number of locums. Two smaller hospitals are critical access within thirty minutes. For providers that love the outdoors, this is a dream gig! The Northwoods of Wisconsin are full of lakes, hiking, birdwatching, snowshoing, downhill and cross country skiing, ice fishing, etc. Act 10 acceptable. Orientation rate should be $150/hour. Local/Midwest-based providers strongly preferred as it reduces travel issues in the winter.
