Project Manager / Estimator

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) construction projects while helping expand our growing service business. What You'll Do As a Project Manager, you'll oversee projects from proposal through final completion, ensuring safe execution, satisfied customers, and profitable results. Responsibilities include: Manage I&E construction projects ranging from $10,000 to over $10 million Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and field personnel Prepare competitive estimates and technical proposals using drawings, specifications, labor estimates, and industry best practices Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, invoicing, and profitability Administer change orders and contract modifications Coordinate staffing requirements with Operations and Field Services leadership Ensure project documentation, testing reports, turnover packages, and quality records are completed accurately and on time Conduct periodic job site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction Participate in customer meetings and support business development activities to grow existing and new accounts Champion VersaTech's strong safety culture through field audits, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a self-driven leader who enjoys working directly with customers while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience managing Instrumentation & Electrical construction projects within the Oil & Gas or Industrial markets Strong knowledge of I&E construction methods, commissioning, maintenance, and project execution Experience preparing estimates and technical proposals Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, instrumentation diagrams, specifications, and construction documents Strong financial understanding including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change order management Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to build strong relationships with customers, field personnel, subcontractors, and internal teams Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software Willingness to travel approximately 30% , primarily throughout Louisiana and Texas Why VersaTech?
