Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler responsible for working in a cell environment to test, build, and package electro-mechanical products. The role involves basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards, wire bonding, and RF soldering for sub-assemblies, and using visual and written work instructions to add customer-specific components.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks using hand tools to build small parts.
• Conduct basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards.
• Perform wire bonding and RF soldering for sub-assemblies.
• Package products and prepare them for shipping.
• Notify material handlers of part shortages.
• Lift up to 35 lbs as part of daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly line and mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Ability to perform soldering and packaging.
• Understanding of general production processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to provide references for the last 5 jobs or 7 years.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Experience in production of small parts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work in a lean manufacturing, kan-ban, production cell environment. Employees need a flexible personality due to team rotations and must be comfortable with ESD protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
