Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Overview *An Active RBT Certification with the BACB is required for this position* Location: Dixon, Vallejo, Suisun, Vacaville, Fairfield Job Type: PART-TIME Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 2‑8pm. Must have afternoon and evening availability. Work Setting: In‑home or In‑clinic Compensation: $24–$25 per hour Onboarding Bonus: $150 What You’ll Do As an RBT at BTS, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play‑based activities. Sessions take place in the child’s home, clinic, or school, lasting 2–3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you’re comfortable with, from toddlers to teens. Responsibilities Deliver one‑on‑one behavior support through individualized activities. Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Collect and record data on client progress accurately. Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support. Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions. Qualifications Positive, enthusiastic attitude and passion for working with children. 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities. RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification (or willingness to obtain). Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field. Spanish‑speaking is a plus. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients. Requirements Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 18 years of age. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding. TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella immunization, and pre‑employment physical (within the past year). Background check (FBI & DOJ). Benefits Mileage reimbursement between client homes.
