CAD CAM Specialist - Dental

Overview Digital Dentistry Sales Specialist responsible for initiating and coordinating CAD/CAM technology sales within a defined territory. You will consult with doctors and their staff regarding products and services, and work with other sales professionals to identify, qualify, and close equipment sales. CAD/CAM products include digital impression scanners, software, milling units and 3D printers, enabling a digital workflow that benefits the practice and patients. The role also drives sales of advanced dental technologies, including 3D printing systems and Solea dental laser solutions to help practices adopt innovative technologies that improve efficiency, patient care, and growth. Responsibilities Generate Sales Actively prospect, pursue, and close CAD/CAM sales Develop relationships with doctors and key practice staff Execute effective cold call strategies to acquire new accounts Generate referrals from current customers and manufacturers’ representatives Plan, coordinate, and schedule CAD/CAM-related events such as demonstrations and trainings Coordinate co-travels and collaborative sales efforts with Patterson teams Sales Planning Prepare for sales visits ahead of the meeting; develop general and client-specific sales strategies Gather information about Patterson products, services, competitive intelligence, and industry trends Analyze the customer’s business needs and identify selling opportunities Equipment and Technology Sales Coordinate with other Patterson sales professionals to demonstrate and sell equipment and technology Discuss equipment and technology solutions based on customer needs and industry trends Explain benefits and features of equipment and technology tailored to the customer Communicate financial benefits of purchases, including return on investment and tax considerations Customer Relations Conduct product demonstrations for customers, sales colleagues, and equipment specialists related to CAD/CAM products Hold client relationship meetings to monitor satisfaction with service and support and highlight value-added services Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years of business-to-business outside sales experience or equivalent Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office Must possess a valid driver's license Ability to lift approximately 50-100 pounds Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred Basic mechanical knowledge preferred This position is paid on a commission basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr Patterson Companies, Inc.
