We are seeking an experienced Regional Commercial Lighting Specification Sales Manage r - West  to lead sales growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and manage an independent sales representative network within a designated territory. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales leader with lighting industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
• Lead, train, and support independent sales representatives to maximize performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, sales partners, and internal teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to drive growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with business development, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Manage account performance, budgets, and sales forecasts.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure long-term account success.

What Success Looks Like

• Consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Expanding the customer base through new account acquisition.
• Growing market share within the assigned territory.
• Effectively managing budgets and territory performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales leadership experience, including management of an independent sales force.
• Lighting industry experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven success developing and executing strategic sales plans.
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
• Residence within the territory is preferred.
