And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.We are seeking a highly analytical, driven, and experienced Mfg Ops Engineer to manage contract manufacturing vendor relationships and drive operational excellence in our high-velocity manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end strategic partnership with vendors providing critical design, development, manufacturing, and integration services for AWS servers and rack integration. You will be responsible for optimizing vendor performance across cost, quality, capacity, delivery, compliance, and sustainability while ensuring efficient manufacturing capacity and timely delivery of products to AWS data centers globally. As a Tech Ops Engineer, you will act as the primary point of escalation for all vendor-related issues, manage material flow and logistics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires exceptional leadership in delivering detailed plans to execute complex rack build deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware engineering, supply chain, quality, lifecycle management, operations, compliance, and sustainability. Review production metrics and KPIs from high-velocity assembly operations, identifying and addressing immediate escalations2. Attend cross-functional meetings with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing stakeholders to discuss supply chain initiatives3. Analyze vendor performance metrics and lead discussions to drive continuous improvement4. Conduct deep analysis of supply chain steps from pre-order to post-shipment to enable order flow5. Collaborate with technical teams on system changes to improve cross-functional process efficiencies6. Meet with vendor partners to discuss process improvements, technology upgrades, and partnership strategies7. Review production schedules and demand forecasts, making adjustments to balance efficiency and flexibility8. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
