**About the Role:**

As a Geriatric Nurse Assistant at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Alice Manor, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and individualized care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Providing light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
* Assisting with meal preparation and serving residents
* Monitoring residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services

**Additional Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
* Participate in resident activities and recreational programs
* Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and reporting any concerns to the supervisor

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or certification as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA)
* 1+ year of experience as a CNA or GNA in a long-term care setting
* Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
