Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Shipping & Receiving Clerk We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support warehouse, inventory, and production operations in a machining and manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for processing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, supplying materials to production, and supporting daily warehouse activities. Job Duties Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently Create shipping labels and documentation using shipping software and carrier systems Package machined parts and products to ensure safe transportation and delivery Verify shipment quantities, materials, and documentation for accuracy Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records using computer software Supply materials and components to production departments as needed Assist with production support duties during periods of reduced warehouse activity Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned Qualifications One to three years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations preferred Previous forklift experience preferred Experience using shipping software and transportation management systems preferred Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to support both warehouse and production operations Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required Skills & Abilities Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions and decimals Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new equipment, procedures, and processes Forklift certification preferred; training may be available Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work safely around manufacturing and machining equipment Ability to work in both warehouse and production environments Schedule Full-time position First Shift Monday through Thursday Hours: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Benefits of the Position Stable full-time employment Consistent four-day work week Opportunity to gain experience in warehouse and manufacturing operations Cross-training and skill development opportunities Team-oriented work environment Career growth and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
