Role Overview

The Material Handler supports fast‑moving production lines by delivering parts, removing materials, and keeping inventory flowing accurately. You’ll work closely with leads in the paint and assembly departments, operate forklifts, move carts and pallet jacks across the floor, assist teammates, and complete inventory transactions using handheld RF scanners. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to keeping daily production on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Support production lines by delivering parts and removing materials to keep workflow moving.
• Collaborate with paint and assembly leads to meet hourly and daily production needs.
• Operate forklifts to transport parts safely to and from production lines.
• Move carts and pallet jacks throughout the production floor.
• Assist fellow material handlers and support assembly tasks when needed.
• Organize units for the paint unload team to ensure smooth transitions.
• Perform inventory transactions using handheld RF scanners with accuracy.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Experience in inventory , material handling , or part picking .
• Proficiency with RF scanners and basic warehouse documentation.
• Clear, effective communication in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills for counting and verifying parts.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision.
• Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs .
• Comfortable with walking and standing for full shifts.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a similar material handling or production support role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
