Overview of the Tax Manager role:

• Lead and review complex federal and state tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  
  
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  
  
• Manage multiple client engagements and deliverables simultaneously.
  
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  
  
• Supervise and mentor tax staff and seniors, providing feedback and training.
  
  
• Conduct tax research and draft memoranda on technical issues.
  
  
• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on strategic firm initiatives.
  
  
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• CPA required.
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred.
  
  
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a tax advisory firm.
  
  
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a team.
  
  
• Strong technical knowledge in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.
  
  
• Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
• High attention to detail, strong project management abilities, and client service orientation.
