About the Role:

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Tri Valley is looking for a driven and experienced General Manager to lead our growing team in San Ramon, CA. As our General Manager, you won't be stepping into a corporate machine - you'll be helping build a founderled HVAC operation from the ground up. This role is for someone who wants to shape culture, establish standards, and lead a team in an environment that values autonomy, craftsmanship, and accountability. We operate like a startup, but with the systems, training, and national brand recognition of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning behind us. You'll have the freedom to build, the authority to lead, and the stability of a proven national brand supporting your success.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the HVAC service business, ensuring efficiency and profitability
• Lead, coach, and develop field technicians, dispatchers, and office staff to meet performance goals
• Monitor KPIs including revenue, job completion rates, customer satisfaction scores, and technician productivity
• Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow to maximize service capacity and response times
• Drive sales growth through upselling, maintenance agreements, and new customer acquisition strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and referral growth
• Oversee budgeting, P&L management, and vendor/supplier relationships

Requirements:

• 3+ years of management experience in HVAC, home services, or a related trade industry
• Proven track record of leading teams and hitting revenue and operational targets
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, service operations, and industry best practices
• Experience with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge) preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven business decisions
• Customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences
• Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in San Ramon, CA

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
