Sr Staff Accountant

We are seeking a high-performing Staff Accountant with strong IES experience to support accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting in a fast-paced, growing organization. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who is comfortable owning core accounting processes and contributing to financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and execute month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accuracy in IES, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and reports
• Manage AP, AR, and payroll processing within IES
• Assist with audit support and basic tax documentation
• Improve IES workflows and support process efficiency
• Perform cost tracking, expense analysis, and variance reporting
• Support inventory, job costing, and margin tracking as applicable
• Identify and help resolve accounting discrepancies and process gaps
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate financial data

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-6+ years of accounting experience (high-performing Staff or early Senior level)
• Strong IES experience required
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Exposure to cost accounting, inventory, or project-based accounting is a plus
