Join us!Position Overview:The Pharmacy Quality Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing critical quality processes within the pharmacy, with a primary focus on managing the Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting process. This role requires a proactive approach to quality assurance, including reviewing patient feedback and other critical reporting, resolving quality issues, identifying areas for improvement, and developing actionable solutions. The Pharmacy Quality Improvement Specialist will work closely with all internal Pharmacy teams/ departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting of ADEs, adherence to client-specific requirements and SLAs, and compliance with regulatory standards.At Blink Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and creating a work environment that values quality and integrity. If you are passionate about pharmacy quality assurance and improvement, we invite you to apply and join our dedicated team in Pittsburgh.Key Responsibilities:Adverse Drug Event (ADE) Reporting and SubmissionReview all internal reporting of patient and provider communications for potential ADEs.Ensure each ADE has corresponding internal documentation aligned with client-specific requirements.Complete and submit client-specific ADE forms, complete any required follow-up.Conduct FDA submissions when necessary, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Patient Feedback Analysis and Quality Action PlanningReview and analyze patient survey reports to identify trends and issues using specific keyword analysis.Develop and implement action plans based on survey insights to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.Provide recommendations to address recurring issues and drive improvements across pharmacy operations.Quality Analysis and CorrectionReview daily quality reports, correct issues according to business rules, and ensure accuracy in patient orders.Work collaboratively with internal teams to identify, escalate and resolve operational inefficiencies and quality issues.Monitor daily quality metrics to ensure that the department consistently meets and exceeds operational standards.Compliance and Process ImprovementMaintain a high standard of compliance with all corporate policies as well as state and federal regulations.Contribute to quality assurance initiatives by recommending enhancements to existing processes and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of five years in pharmacy with demonstrated success in identifying and resolving quality issues.Education: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively within and across departments.Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly adapt to complex software systems with proficiency in Google Suite.Mentorship: Experience in mentoring or informally training colleagues is a plus.Hours/ Location:Location: 100% in office in Robinson Township, PA (Pittsburgh)Shift: Weekly rotating schedule from 8am - 4pm and 1pm - 9pm with rotating Saturday from 9am-5pm every 5-6 weeksBenefits:Health, Dental & Vision – Multiple plan options from day 1Well-being Support – Employee Assistance Program with counseling, wellness coaching, legal/financial advice, and moreVacation – Accrue up to 80 hours (2 weeks) in year onePaid Sick Time – 40 hours per year Holidays – 9 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays per yearParental Leave – 12 weeks paid (birthing) / 4 weeks paid (non-birthing), including adoption and foster placement401(k) – Traditional and Roth optionsLife & Disability Insurance – Provided at no costCommuter Benefits – Free onsite parking + pre-tax commuter FSA+ Free shuttle service (Pittsburgh, PA only)Snack & Drink Stipend – Daily at all pharmacy locations#blinkindeedWhy Join Us:It is rare to have a company that both deeply impacts its customers and is able to provide its services across a massive population.
