About This Job Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse 3 for our Reaching Independence through Support and Education (RISE) Treatment Center. The Nurse is expected to provide compassionate, patient-centered care at a treatment center dedicated to pregnant women with substance use disorders and their dependent children. This role involves delivering medical care, supporting maternal and pediatric health, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive treatment. Minimum Qualifications Current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state. Mandatory experience: either Two years as a licensed registered nurse; OR a bachelor's degree in nursing plus one year of experience; OR a master's degree in nursing or public health plus one year of experience; OR a doctorate in nursing or public health. Job Duties Work as part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce stigma surrounding integrated care treatment. Observe and assess consumer’s total health, make appropriate referrals to community resources, and conduct health assessments for pregnant women and their children, including vital signs, prenatal care, and routine pediatric health checks. Interview consumers individually during medication management clinics, screening for present symptomatology, measuring vital signs, and collecting specimens such as urine samples for lab testing per NEDHSA policy. Work closely with physicians, counselors, case managers, and other staff to develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations as prescribed, review charts, prepare for medication management clinics, and complete necessary paperwork (AIMS, informed consent, lab monitoring forms, reassessment and psychiatric updates). Position‑Specific Details Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty Location: RISE Treatment Facility (Monroe) Compensation: Clinicians at NHSC‑approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program. For 2‑year full‑time clinical practice, NHSC will pay up to $50,000 for the initial 2 years.
