Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a well-equipped hospital clinic located in North Las Vegas, NV. Our facility is designed to support a collaborative environment that enhances patient interactions and rehabilitation outcomes. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on patient needs and clinic operations. The hospital is outfitted with advanced therapeutic equipment and modalities including electrical stimulation units, ultrasound machines, and tools for heat/cold therapy, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to deliver effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans targeted at improving patients' mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, ensuring correct execution and safety during their rehabilitation.
• Educating patients on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to facilitate a successful recovery process.
• Administering therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, including improvements in range of motion, strength gains, and overall functional capabilities.
• Preparing treatment areas and maintaining the organization of equipment and supplies required for therapy sessions.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Providing emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a motivating and healing environment.
• Adhering rigorously to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• An Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the various therapeutic interventions utilized in physical therapy.
• Proficiency in assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities, working under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
