Pharmaceutical Development Senior Associate Scientist II
Catalent
Catalent seeks a Pharmaceutical Development Senior Associate Scientist II to support oral solid drug product formulation and development at its Kansas City facility. The role involves laboratory execution, technical documentation, training, and GMP compliance with a 12pm-10:30pm shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory work plans and schedules with supervisory input
- Draft technical documents including batch records, reports, and standard operating procedures
- Train others on laboratory procedures and techniques
- Perform physical testing including density analysis, flow analysis, and sieve analysis
- Conduct manufacturing documentation review and quality verification for regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life or physical science with 4+ years related experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutics principles and concepts
- Ability to apply mathematical and scientific reasoning to pharmaceutical problems
- Advanced understanding of equipment operation and instrument troubleshooting across multiple techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and GMP workspace operations
