Job Description
Position: Spa Coordinator Department: Spa Primary Responsibilities: (guestinteraction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clericalresponsibilities, etc.)
• Constant interaction with guests by phone or inperson making Spa/Salon reservations and explaining services
• Accuratelyenter reservations for treatment room and therapist
• Understand and respondto all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintainpleasant and welcoming demeanor in person and over the phone
• Ensures TheGreenbrier experience
• Adheres to policies of the facility
• Reports anyincidents or accidents to the Spa Director
• Submits all paperwork andfinancial reporting, when applicable
• Develops and maintains accuratedepartment maintenance procedures and checklists through routine preventativemaintenance and repair
• Maintains a monthly inventory of supplies and/orproducts, when applicable
• Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and itsamenities in order to effectively communicate with members and/orguests
• Participates in the Manager on Duty (MOD) schedule, ifapplicable
• Helps ensure facility is only accessed by actual members and/orguests, and that it is safe and secure at all times
• Greets each and everyguest with a smile and direct eye contact
• Goes the extra mile for membersand guests by offering to make reservations, find directions, look up phonenumbers, etc
• Uses time efficiently throughout shift by checking equipment,locker rooms, gift shop stocks, inventory, etc. Ensures proper coverage whenit's necessary to leave the area
• Keeps area clear of clutter and personaleffects
• Informs co-worker(s) of pertinent information at the end of theshift. Maintains and updates staff communication book
• Informs facilitymanager of any member, guest, or facility issues
• Enrolls members and guestsin programs. Makes reservations for spa services and personal training, whenapplicable
• Receives payments for goods and services and properly accountsfor the money. Reconciles daily sales, deposits, and receipts, whenapplicable
• Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment,furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for specialevents Normal Working Hours: (Shift,days)• 32-40 hours per week in season
• Staffing requiresavailability on holidays and 7 day a week operation
• Shifts -Flexible In order to be successful inthis position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in additionto the Mobil 5 Star Service Standards for AllEmployees. Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
• Retailand phone preferred
• Experience with a cash drawer preferred
• CustomerService experience required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)
• HighSchool Diploma or G.E.D.
• College Degree preferred Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
• Excellentcommunication, customer service skills, and work ethic
• Ability to expressinformation clearly
• Excellent verbal and written skills TechnicalRequirements: • Computer skills (Word and Excel)
