Marketing & Business Development Specialist

This position is based in Florida or Texas and requires four days in the office and one remote work day each week. An established, nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Specialist to support firmwide initiatives and attorneys across select offices. We’re seeking a driven, organized selfstarter with a strong commitment to service, particularly someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, and delivers exceptional support to both attorneys and clients. Key responsibilities include: Build strong working relationships with attorneys and serve as a primary resource for day to day marketing and business development needs. Recommend and manage sponsorships, memberships, and participation in industry and client events to enhance visibility and support strategic positioning. Prepare award submissions and directory materials for publications such as Chambers, Legal 500, and Best Lawyers/Best Law Firms. Draft and coordinate pitch materials and RFP responses, collaborating closely with attorneys and team members to tailor content to specific opportunities. Work with attorneys to update website content, attorney bios, and other marketing collateral to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with firm messaging. Support a wide range of marketing and business development projects, including presentation materials, CLE content, experience and client database updates, internal meeting preparation, and related tasks. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree Preferred fields of study include marketing, management, communications, or related business disciplines 2–5 years of marketing/business development experience in a professional services environment Skills Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively identify what additional steps or information will strengthen a project Proficiency with grammar and editing Proactive selfstarter who can manage projects independently and partner with team members as needed to move initiatives forward Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff
