Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:**As a Project Manager at nVent Management Company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects are accomplished flawlessly and on schedule. You can expect to:* Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the Contract/PO and specifications.* Establish and manage project schedules with customers and within nVent to meet deadlines.* Identify, negotiate, and manage change orders, acquiring necessary approvals before initiation.* Analyze project revenue, cost, and profitability, including material and labor costs.* Update achievement billing reports and ensure accurate invoices are sent promptly.* Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, acting as a liaison between multiple departments.* Review customer specifications, project quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy.* Lead internal and external project kickoff meetings, build reviews, and status updates.* Identify and communicate issues and risks early, driving resolutions to keep projects on track.* Coordinate customer visits, ensuring smooth logistics for inspections, testing, and meetings.* Promote nVent with existing customers for potential additional sales opportunities!* Adhere to nVent safety and quality standards to ensure both nVent and customer requirements are met.**YOU HAVE:*** A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, or at least 5 years' experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering, construction, or other related industry fields.* PMP Certification preferred.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Experience using Excel, Microsoft Project (or similar scheduling software), and ERP systems such as JDE, Oracle, or SAP.* Experience working with customers on long-term projects.* Experience with industrial electrical systems and the ability to interpret and construct according to various specifications.* Strong time management and complex problem-solving skills.* Proven negotiation abilities and capacity to manage several projects at once.* The skill to interact efficiently with diverse groups across a global commercial context.* A proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies and industry standards.**WE HAVE:*** A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
