This role is accountable for building a scalable operating model, leading high-visibility events, owning the Cvent platform strategy, and delivering exceptional employee and business experiences.What you’ll doLeadership & StrategyDevelop and evolve the Meetings & Events strategy, service model and operating framework.Establish scalable processes, governance and standards supporting future growth.Partner with HR, Facilities, Travel, Catering, Procurement, Admin Community, Communications and business leaders.Develop and maintain various vendor relationships.Event Planning & ExecutionLead high-profile executive meetings, leadership events, employee engagement programs and strategic business events.Provide hands-on event planning, budgeting, sourcing, logistics and onsite execution support.Serve as escalation point for complex or business-critical events.Consult and develop meeting & event best practices across the organization.Event Technology & Cvent LeadershipOwn the Meetings & Events technology ecosystem with primary responsibility for Cvent strategy, administration, adoption and optimization.Implement standardized registration, attendee communications, event websites, surveys, sourcing and reporting through Cvent.Develop dashboards and analytics providing visibility to event volume, spend, utilization and outcomes.Drive enterprise adoption of Cvent and identify opportunities to centralize event activity through technology-enabled workflows.Team Leadership & Capability DevelopmentLead, coach and develop the Corporate Events Planner.Build organizational capability and scalable resource models.Financial Stewardship & GovernanceManage budgets, contracts, suppliers and preferred vendor strategy.Improve spend visibility, compliance and event governance.Who we’re looking forMinimum of 8-10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. plus 8+ years of corporate meetings, events, hospitality, employee experience or related program leadership experience.8+ years of corporate meetings, events, hospitality, employee experience or related program leadership experience8+ years of corporate meetings, events, hospitality, employee experience or related program leadership experience.Strong cross-functional leadership across Facilities, Catering, Travel, Procurement and HR.In addition to Tualatin Oregon location we are also open to Fremont California. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
