HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, located in Monaca, PA, is seeking HydroBlaster/General Labor Technicians to join our safety‑conscious team. The role involves setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other related duties. Benefits Health and safety is our priority; we live it 3-6-5. Responsibilities Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies & procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands‑on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions. Operate manual and automated hydro‑blasting equipment. Operate special equipment, such as ultra‑high‑pressure pumps. Operate equipment by energizing pumping equipment and/or specialized hydro‑blasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment used on the job. Examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications. Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job. If in a supervisory capacity: Interface with customer representatives regarding job setup and scope, ensure performance and customer requirements are met or exceeded, and implement company policies and procedures at the job site. Qualifications See, read, distinguish, and understand signs in the work area. Hear and distinguish emergency signals while on duty. Execute a 180‑degree rotary motion of the cervical spine to allow complete movement of the head and neck. Must be able to extend arms above head. Frequently bend at waist, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl. Be able to be wet from head to toe for an unlimited amount of time. Climb ladders and work from scaffolding and stationary platforms up to heights of 200 ft. Function in confined spaces of a minimum of 5 ft inside diameter. Hold a back thrust of 50 lbs on a straight 66” pipe for a minimum of 1 hour. Capable of working up to 16 hours per shift. Capable of using both negative‑pressure and air‑supplied respirators. Wear protective clothing and/or equipment such as Nomex coveralls, a back belt, slickers, rubber boots, a fresh‑air breathing mask, an escape pack, and a hard hat. Work under extreme climate conditions (high heat index of 95°F with 98% humidity, or sub‑zero weather). Exposure to dust, fumes, and exhaust, as well as highly pressurized fluids (a respirator will be provided when required). Noise levels exceed 85 dBA (hearing protection is provided and required). Lift and maintain a minimum of 40 lbs. Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policy when operating company vehicles or using personal vehicle for company business. Knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers. Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) required or must be able to obtain.
