Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers the opportunity to apply sterile compounding expertise alongside clinical pharmacy services in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy setting. The position requires leadership in regulatory compliance and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.

• Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Location:

• High Springs, FL

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders accurately.
• Perform and oversee sterile compounding following USP <795> , <797> , and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure safety and quality.
• Review medication profiles, assessing safety, allergies, drug interactions, dosing, and compatibilities.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations.
• Maintain strict cleanroom and aseptic techniques alongside environmental monitoring standards.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, medication safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain detailed compounding, batch, quality, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, including controlled substances and pharmacy operational tasks.
• Support the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff training.
• Engage actively in staff meetings and professional conferences.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding adhering to USP <795> , <797> , DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Strong communication skills with proven leadership ability.
