Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Cytotechnologist to support laboratory operations across multiple locations in New York . In this role, you will examine and evaluate cellular specimens to assist pathologists in the detection and diagnosis of cancer, infectious diseases, and other pathological conditions.

Working within a collaborative laboratory environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results that directly impact patient care. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $71,000 to $106,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to work with advanced laboratory technologies and experienced pathology teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Cytotechnology, or a related scientific field.
• Cytotechnologist Certification (CT(ASCP)) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of cytology or clinical laboratory experience .
• Strong knowledge of cytology principles, specimen preparation, and microscopic evaluation techniques.
• Ability and willingness to travel between designated laboratory locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume clinical, hospital, or reference laboratory environments.
• Strong attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with digital pathology and laboratory information systems preferred.
