Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Access Clerk in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and assisting with entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor gates, doors, docks, and other controlled access points to help support authorized access, document visitor/vendor arrivals, and report unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, following post orders and emergency response activities while communicating clearly with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or access issues.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records related to access control, deliveries, inspections, and other security-related procedures at a busy distribution location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
