As a Security Officer Access Validation in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, warehouse areas, and other restricted locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, loading areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support receiving and shipping operations by monitoring traffic flow, checking badges and/or visitor logs, and following post orders related to access control and property movement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
