Enterprise Actuarial Strategy Partner

Closer to capital and enterprise-risk strategy than a reserving-cycle role, because the scope spans forecasts, capital, ORSA, reinsurance, and strategic advice.

Associate P&C actuary role focused on Oregon workers' compensation pricing, reserving, forecasting, capital modeling, and reinsurance. Based remotely in Oregon, you'll advise business partners and work directly with senior executives, the board, regulators, auditors, and reinsurers. The role seeks an ACAS with five or more years of actuarial experience.

Requirements

Strongly preferred:

5+ years of actuarial experience, including at least 1 year of workers' compensation experience
ACAS credential (membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society)
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance or related field
Continued progress towards CAS membership under SAIF's study program
