On-Call Team Member Position: On-Call Team Member (Posting Number: G/R21147P). Department: VetMed-VTH Sm Animal Op Rm. Location: Athens Area. Employment Type: Employee. Additional Schedule: Hours will vary based on the needs of the unit. Salary: $12.75 per hour (based on experience). Start Date: 05/15/2024. Responsibilities Assist with animal care to patients: walk, water, feed, transport, restrain, and groom. Provide support to technical staff and clinicians. Clean and stock service area. Minimum Qualifications Properly handle and restrain various species of animals. Effectively communicate. Work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent customer service, high degree of confidentiality, openness to teaching and providing consultation to a variety of stakeholders. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Sit, stand, stoop, and bend intermittently during the day on hard floor surfaces. Wear all protective gear including mask, gloves, gown, hairnet, and safety goggles.
