Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.**Key Responsibilities*** Direct and coordinate all maintenance activities for the baggage handling system, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize system downtime and maximize operational efficiency* Supervise and mentor a team of conveyor technicians and mechanics* Monitor system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement* In conjunction of upper management, coordinate with airport operations, airlines, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and system outages* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and operational requirements* Respond to system emergencies and implement contingency plans when necessary* Analyze maintenance data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management**Qualifications*** High school diploma* 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in airport operations or complex mechanical systems* Demonstrated experience managing maintenance teams and contractors* Strong understanding of automated conveyor systems, PLCs, motors, and control systems* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions during system failures* Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders* Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards* Project management experience preferred**Skills & Attributes*** Strong technical aptitude with mechanical and electrical systems* Exceptional organizational and time management skills* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making* Proactive approach to system reliability and performance* Customer-focused mindset**Additional Requirements*** Must be available for on-call rotations and emergency response* May require working non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays* Airport security clearance will be required* Physical requirements include walking through airport facilities, standing for extended periods, and occasionally working in confined spaces* Ability to lift up to 50lbsThis position offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications.This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.**Estimated compensation for this position:**95,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD per year*This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
