Workday HCM Consultant - Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC

Eligible candidates include U.S. Citizens (USC), Green Card holders (GC), TN visa holders, H4 EAD holders, and L2 EAD holders Title: Workday HCM Consultant Location: Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC Contract Duration: 6 Months Hybrid Job Description This position will be on the Core HCM Workday product team. This candidate will be a key partner with business and product stakeholders to gather/refine requirements, assist with development, and complete UAT testing prior to release. Excellent communication is a must as they will be working closely with executive-level employees, as well as the product team. Required Qualifications 5 plus years of hands‑on experience supporting Workday HCM in an analyst or lead role Strong experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions, and supporting testing Deep understanding of Workday Business Process Framework 5 plus years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Preferred Qualifications Experience with additional HCM modules (Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time) Experience supporting or partnering on Workday integrations Prior Workday certification Experience supporting Workday tenants in large, complex organizations Contingent Resource Assignment Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for Business Execution. Review and analyze complex multi‑faceted, larger scale, or longer‑term Business Execution challenges that require in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi‑faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
