Staff AccountantSalary: $65,000 – $75,000 Location: Speedway, INWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Join a growing organization where you will have visibility across multiple business operations, including event accounting, licensing compliance, and traditional accounting functions.Work directly with an experienced CFO who values collaboration, professional development, and mentorship.Hybrid schedule offering 1 day remote per week after onboarding.Gain exposure to a unique blend of accounting responsibilities, from month-end close and financial reporting to event-based accounting and compliance support.Opportunity to work in a fast-moving environment where your contributions have a direct impact on operations and financial performance.Broad accounting role with exposure to multiple entities, creating a strong foundation for future growth into Senior Accountant or leadership positions.Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, cash receipts, and maintain accurate general ledger activity.Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, depreciation schedules, and draft financial reports.Manage event-related accounting, including revenue tracking, settlements, payouts, and expense processing.Assist with vehicle licensing administration, mileage and fuel tracking, and preparation of IFTA-related filings.Maintain organized documentation, support audit readiness, and ensure adherence to established accounting controls.Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1+ years of accounting experience with exposure to general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
