Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion

Registered Nurse – Hematology/Oncology

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call responsibilities.

Contract Length: 17 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of recent infusion experience required, outpatient clinic experience highly desired.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• Experience with EMR systems and infusion pumps.
• Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team.
• Current, unencumbered RN licensure in the state.

Responsibilities:

• Provide chemotherapy teaching at the chairside.
• Manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision.
• Perform a mixture of hematology/oncology and non-oncology referral infusions.
• Collaborate effectively with the oncology care team.
• Ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
• Document patient care accurately in EMR.
