• Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks, with option to extend
• Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 30-minute lunch)
• Schedule: Full-time; providers must be able to work at least 2 weeks per month
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,660 - $8,070

This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist role focuses on trauma and general anesthesia care across orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases. Join a collaborative anesthesia team delivering perioperative care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations (no neonatal cases).


Key Responsibilities

• Provide general and trauma anesthesia care for orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neurosurgical cases (no cardiac or OB)
• Perform advanced airway management including intubation and rapid-sequence induction
• Place arterial lines and assist with central line management and other invasive monitoring
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Work in a medically directed model collaborating with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, residents, and anesthesia techs
• Participate in NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia) and off-site anesthesia assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• Active NBCRNA certification (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
• Eligible for or currently holding Kentucky RN/CRNA state licensure (licensing assistance available)
• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in a large medical center or Level 1 trauma setting (no new graduates)
• Specific Level 1 trauma center experience required; trauma anesthesia expertise preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
