We’re seeking a NICU Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join a dedicated pediatric pharmacy team supporting a 118-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit . This is an opportunity to provide direct clinical pharmacy services at the bedside while partnering with neonatologists, physicians, nurses, and pharmacy colleagues to optimize medication therapy for some of the most clinically complex patients. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a dedicated clinical pharmacy team supporting a 118-bed NICU Provide specialized pharmacy care for critically ill neonates Drive medication safety, utilization, and evidence-based clinical pharmacy initiatives Mentor and precept pharmacy students, residents, and colleagues Full-time daytime schedule with comprehensive benefits What You’ll Do Provide direct clinical pharmacy services to critically ill neonatal patients Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams on medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and optimization Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical pharmacy programs that improve patient outcomes and medication safety Conduct medication utilization reviews and identify opportunities for cost containment and appropriate drug use Serve as a clinical resource, educator, mentor, and preceptor for pharmacy staff, students, and residents Schedule Full-Time 5 × 8-hour shifts Day schedule Rotating on-call approximately every 8–9 weeks What We’re Looking For PharmD or qualifying pharmacy degree Completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pediatrics Dedicated NICU clinical pharmacy experience or significant NICU-focused PGY2 experience Demonstrated ability to provide direct clinical pharmacy services to critically ill neonates Active Texas Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure #J-18808-Ljbffr
