About Sojourn Collegiate Ministry Sojourn is a network of campus ministries located in the northeast region of the U.S. We aim to help students discover God's dream for their lives. Description Job Purpose and Overview: The campus minister is responsible for inviting students to discover God's dream for their lives by providing them with experiences that facilitate a Jesus centered community, engagement with questions of faith and life, and living justly in the world. Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership Recruit student leaders to enable progress toward goals and objectives Cultivate a healthy and effective ministry to students Team Vision Driven - Execute and implement within a team ministry approach Cultivate and develop partnerships that enable progress toward goals and objectives. Execute the team roles and responsibilities developed with the Team Lead Ministry Spiritually Healthy - Execute a personal development plan. Fully Funded - Fundraise for your contracted amount Secure funding for implementation of the campus ministries team approach Communicate effectively with students, partners, and teammates Qualifications Is over the age of 21 Experience as a resident, intern, or in student leadership with Sojourn is a plus Experience in campus ministry is a plus BSc/BA degree is a plus Has demonstrated . . . a growth in Sojourn's core values an ability to effectively communicate God's dream for the world a willingness to learn support raising an ability to help students discover God's dream for their life. a commitment to growing in a personal relationship with Jesus a hunger, humility and urgency for God's dream. an ability to take self-initiative.
