By tailoring nursing, social services, and therapeutic everyday activities our clients and residents are able to define what living well means to them. The LPN will care for the residents of Our House by assisting in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care. You will be providing direct care to the residents as well as environmental care of the facility./ppThis is an on-call role working at Our House in SE Portland. This position is for an on-call LPN is for day shifts (6:30 am to 3 pm) throughout Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Starting pay is $34.17 an hour/ph3Who You Are/h3ulliUnencumbered nursing license in the state of Oregon/liliBasic Life Support card/liliAbility to pass DHS background check/liliOne year of relevant nursing experience preferred./liliMotivation to work with persons living with HIV, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or behavioral health supports and require all levels of care./liliCommitment to advancing equity and inclusion in workplace or community settings/liliDesire and ability to engage in equity and inclusion initiatives and discussions in the workplace, including but not limited to: engaging in training workshops, team and department meetings, and commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in workplace or community setting./li/ulh3What Youll Do/h3ulliPerforms nursing procedures in accordance with licensure and skill level, utilizing principles of safety and infection control./liliAbility to explain treatments and conditions to patients of all ages and diverse populations/liliProvides assistance with activities of daily living./liliExcellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail/liliWorks in collaboration with residents primary care provider, clinical staff, and support system./liliAdministers and documents medications and treatments using electronic medication administration record./li/ulpAt Cascade AIDS Project, we believe in unlocking potential.
