Key Qualifications:

• Active certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT CT preferred)
• Current Radiologic Technologist state license as required
• At least one year of recent CT imaging experience in a clinical setting
• Comprehensive understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety procedures, and radiation safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and effective collaboration with staff
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images while adhering to prescribed protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort throughout exams
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to review images and ensure diagnostic quality
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with facility regulations and HIPAA guidelines
• Perform equipment checks and collaborate with maintenance staff to resolve technical issues promptly
