Assistant ManagerReports to: Store ManagerAs an Assistant Manager, you will help operate our stores on a day-to-day basis. You will help the Store Manager, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. You'll also assist with local store marketing to help reach sale and profit goals while helping team members through performance and training initiatives.Assistant Managers are responsible for:Assisting the Store Manager and other management members with all facets of the successful operations for Par Mar Stores.Providing high level of leadership to the store and the employees.Supporting the Store Manager with all aspects of generating sales and profit growth efficiently and effectively.Requirements:We are looking for individuals with a desire to succeed and grow with the company, preferable with at least one year of retail experience and ready to move your career to the next level!Strong people-oriented leadership skillsExcellent communication skillsCustomer service skillsValid state driver's license and an insured vehiclePrior knowledge of food handing, safety guidelinesEnsure compliance of all company policies and proceduresEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious retail management preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to traverse all parts of the store quicklyProlonged periods of standing on a hard surfaced floorMust be able to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds at a timeAssistant Managers will be provided with the following:Thorough training programOpportunity for advancementPay increasesFlexible schedulesAnnual review/evaluationEmployee referral bonus programFull-time benefits, health, dental, vision401k with company matchCompany paid life insurancePaid time offWeekly pay
