Chief Executive Officer

The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to set and execute organizational strategy and operating plans, ensure financial sustainability through both earned and contributed revenue, and clearly communicate the organization’s mission, vision, and values to a wide range of stakeholders. The CEO will be responsible for advancing institutional priorities, including implementation of the organization’s strategic planning cycle covering 2025–2031, and for building credibility and alignment across leadership and community partners. Reporting to the Board of Directors through the Board Chair, the CEO will partner closely with board and artistic leadership to implement policies, strengthen organizational capacity, and deepen relationships throughout the community. The role will support continued artistic growth and expanded community impact, including efforts to evolve programming and engagement, and to pursue long-term institutional growth and civic partnership initiatives. The CEO is expected to bring vision, creativity, and informed expertise to deliver on the growth goals of the strategic plan. The position will involve partnering with the City of Savannah on the restoration of a historic performing arts hall and participating in a Music Director search underway, as well as supporting audience and donor development in a region with strong growth potential to support long-term financial sustainability.
