Attorney - First Party Defense

Attorney with first-party insurance defense experience needed to join a high-profile firm. In this role, you will defend first-party property claims and litigation. Great environment with excellent comp structure - billables 1800 Ideal Candidates will have the following Credentials: Excellent academic credentials (top 25% of class rank) Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills Experience conducting depositions and inspections, appearing in court and arguing motions, and assisting in mediation and trial Key Responsibilities Handle all aspects of first-party insurance defense litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Analyze and interpret insurance policies, coverage issues, and claim investigations. Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements. Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties involved in litigation. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials. Work closely with insurance adjusters, claims representatives, and corporate clients to develop defense strategies.
