Job Overview A law firm seeks an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney in Houston, Texas. Duties Provide effective and timely communication, legal advice, and strategy to clients and adjusters. Manage discovery and motions practice within a high‑volume docket. Communicate with the court, witnesses, and opposing counsel to manage daily docket activities. Ensure prompt, efficient, and effective case disposition. Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials as second chair. Requirements Admission to the Texas bar. Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance defense or similar litigation. Strong strategic thinking skills. Excellent work ethic. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
