Entry Level Civil Engineer

Qualifications: BS civil engineering, construction engineering, or related field FE license with ability and desire to obtain PE license in the future. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Civil 3D or other computer aided drafting programs a plus. Must have high attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills. Self-starter, enthusiastic learner, and ability to work independently and as a team. Demonstrate willingness, enthusiasm, and positive attitude to excel. Responsibilities: Work with project team to design site civil engineering aspects of residential, multi-family, commercial, and municipal projects. Use AutoCAD/Civil 3D to prepare engineering plans for roadways, sanitary sewers (both small scale and large scale), water systems, irrigation systems, stormwater systems, and grading plans. Prepare engineering calculations and reports. Perform construction site visits and construction observations. Prepare daily field reports and document construction progress and site conditions.
