R&D Coordinator

Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an R&D Coordinator to develop various correspondence, track engineering progress/cost reports, and various other administrative duties to support R&D initiatives at our Reno Technology Center.Key Responsibilities include: Help coordinate export control and document classifications.Interface with R&D team for budget forecasting.Assist in creating, tracking and status of R&D JIRA related tasks.Create and maintain R&D KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) in JIRA and Confluence.Assist with the coordination of Global R&D meetings and document new materials, procedures and best practices for Global R&D Team.Assist Global R&D patent team with invention disclosures, patent tracking and correspondence with US patent attorneys and/or paralegals.Help administer and organize Confluence Wiki and Jira instances.Other duties as assigned.Skills and Knowledge:Working knowledge of administrative duties including computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Internet.)Atlassian and/or web design experience (highly desired). Ability to format documents, presentations, filing. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail. Minimum of two years’ related experience in a high technology engineering/research environment preferred. Degree in related field preferred (AA, AS, BA, BS).
