We're currently seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to support operations at a 300+ unit mixed-income affordable housing community in Cincinnati, OH.

This role is ideal for a reliable, hands-on residential maintenance professional who wants steady, full-time work and a wide variety of tickets, from lockouts and HVAC calls to plumbing repairs and unit turns. The community includes a mix of newer buildings and restored historic structures, and the team is looking for someone who shows up consistently, communicates clearly, and is comfortable working in a higher-crime neighborhood with a diverse resident base.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders including lockouts/key issues, HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing leaks, and general repairs
• Support unit turns including painting, minor drywall, flooring repairs, and punch work to prepare vacant units for move-in
• Participate in rotating grounds cleanup duties on select mornings each week (landscaping and full cleaning are vendor-supported)
• Work closely with the on-site team to prioritize service requests, turns, and preventative maintenance needs
• Assist with inspection readiness and compliance-related maintenance needs as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential maintenance experience (multifamily strongly preferred)
• Generalist skill set across plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC, drywall/paint, and unit-turn work
• Reliable attendance and strong follow-through in a fast-moving, team-based environment
• Comfort working with a mixed-income resident population in an urban, higher-crime area
• Trade certifications (EPA 608, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are a plus but not required
