Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Mount Airy, NC. The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include coordinating project planning, managing schedules, supervising subcontractors, and monitoring progress and quality in the field. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, leading project meetings, managing RFIs, change orders, and submittals, and ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements. The Project Manager will collaborate with estimators, field superintendents, and clients to resolve issues, manage risk, support procurement and expediting of materials, and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting. Qualifications Strong project leadership with demonstrated experience in Project Management for commercial, residential, site-work construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination. Experience with Expediting and working as an Expeditor to support timely procurement, delivery, and tracking of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Background in Inspection and quality control, including reviewing work against plans and specifications and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes. Skills in Logistics Management to coordinate site deliveries, sequencing of work, and efficient use of labor and equipment. Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools (e.g., SAGE or similar), and standard office applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving abilities with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in commercial construction. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices; OSHA training or certifications are a plus. Ability to work on-site in Mount Airy, NC, visit project locations as needed, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
