Physician - Hospitalist

Job Title: Hospitalist Location: Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin Schedule: 12:00AM - 12:00AM x 2 Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate : $165 - $177/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Hospitalist for a temporary assignment in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a Hospitalist: Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage as part of a team of 5-6 providers, including physicians and possibly one APP Work variable PRN shifts, including day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), and swing (10:00 AM - 10:00 PM) shifts Manage an average daily census of 12-15 patients per day Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations Care for PCU patients located in the ICU as needed Respond to rapid response events; may attend codes if available Collaborate with intensivist support available for ICU patients Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and charting Maintain board certification in Internal Medicine Maintain active Wisconsin state medical license Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications Maintain active DEA registration Document inpatient services or related outpatient hospital services for a minimum of 10 patients within the past two years Comply with annual influenza vaccination requirement or provide an approved exemption Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirement or provide an approved medical or religious exemption Be available and able to commute in for shifts, as PRN shifts may not always be scheduled in advance or in blocks Benefits for a Hospitalist: Weekly pay every Friday Comprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance 24/7 Recruitment Support Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $5,000 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
